I {heart} U Jason

I've noticed that I have few pages for Jason when he was still a baby, so I did this page last week- traditional scrap. I felt that something is lacking on the top part, I may add a border to ground it in the future, but for now this is how it is.

I {heart} you

I've also started to complete "my life" album using the digital quickpages of Ali Edwards that I bought online years ago. So far I have printed 5 pages. Plan to complete it this week.

Some thoughts on scrapping
Scrapping is my creative and emotional outlet. It combines my love for craft and photos. It grounds me to love my life, whatever it is. It makes me more aware of the things that are important to me and to really look into the quality of life that I am living. It makes me appreciate the blessing abound me, big and small. I strive to become a better storyteller. I love that I am recording bits and pieces of my life and of my family which otherwise would be forgotten.

I have inventorized my scrap supplies lately, it is very minimal in comparison to regular scrapper but I noticed that it is slowly filling-up precious storage in my small home office. The thing is I kept on buying but I seldom paper scrap. That has to change...I will do traditional layout more intentionally. I have to use my supplies to free up space.

I have a plan before to completely transition to digital but not able to maintain it. I can resist buying eye candy stuffs especially that scrap supplies are more accessible now than 10 years ago. I've accepted the fact to accept both worlds but that may change as I am inclined to go with less stuff in the future...as in declutter my house and my life.

I'm balancing it all at the moment.
