Pinkish Decors for Valentine

It's heart month again. I am trying to infuse the pink and love motif in our house decors without being to girly for my boys.

Saw this download from Becky's blog the other month. I love the simplicity of the design and the honesty of the message. I printed it on matte paper and make use of a light bronze satin finish frame that has been lying around unused for years (it was actually in the giveaway box already) in our house. You know one of those things you buy just because it's on sale and sounded too good to be true at that time. The framed print is sitting pretty on a side table in the living room, really nice reminder for everyone in the house.

Here is another frame that I bought on sale (again) 2 years back and never really got changing the photos. I love the crackled china look and the lovely pink color, very girly. I meant to put my old photos -as in pre hubby - but never got doing it. (Yes, again!) I do that a lot, putting things aside for awhile until I totally lost interest. I did this back in January when cleaning and organizing was still on its peak.

Instead of pre-hubby pics, I decided to put photos of me with my Nanay and Lola Awang. One during my wedding and the other was when I was ready to burst with my eldest son. And of course a photo of me - still single. Kinda sweet collection. It is currently displayed in my office book shelf.

And the last one, just completed this morning, a lovely print by Beth. And I just know the perfect frame for it. For soem reason, this photo shows the prints in red when it's really hot pink.

And here it is, sweet and adorable in a scroll-y white frame I bought last December.

And see those baby pics, my 3 boys had a blast guessing which one is them.
Happy Valentine'S Day to everyone! Spread the love!
