A Family Valentine's Day

I have to accept that in our house, more often than not the celebration is a family affair - and the heart day is no difference. Nestor and I really have not planned anything. We're sweet-bunchies, don't you think? But I don't mind at all - if no flowers, or sweet chocos, or any shenanigans associated with v-day coz honestly speaking we're not really into it since pre-marriage. Anyway, we didn't just let the day passed without really acknowledging the occassion. I worked at the plant so just asked the Nestor to fetch me up so we can have dinner out. Sure they came, in their most adorable house clothes with traces of sweat all over their faces and in rubber slippers. Well, like I said we didn't planned anything and this is just last minute decision. Even Nestor is looking spent and me in uniform t-shirt and jeans - we look like we are just at home. Medyo nakakahiya especially nung makita namin yung mga porma ng mga tao sa loob ng Racks at Paseo. Anyway, we want to eat and we will pay naman so we went ahead.

The series of photos were taken using my mobile phone Nokia E72. I'm testing how reliable is the camera so I can use as back-up on those days that I simply don't want to lug my other cameras around. And these series of events happened backwards - I forgot again that first one uploaded appears at the bottom in the post.

He's an adorable German Shepherd, so well behaved while the owner is inside the pet store. Jerome wanted to go nearer but of course afraid he'll be bitten.

PLaying with the votive candle after finishing his food.

Here's Justin playing magician - like waving his hands and trying to put out the light without touching it. Magic indeed.

How my plate looks like about 3/4 way into my order. The fish is actually order of Jason pero hindi nya maubos so I ate. I ordered Honey Smoked Chicken with House Mashed Potato for side dish. Love Racks' mashed potato. (the best photo quality from E72 so far)

Nestor had quarter Pork Ribs and side dish corn and carrots. This I think is his staple at Racks.

Justin just ate half of his Bolognese. The rest was eaten by Jason.

And the winner of the night - he ordered Fish and Chips (his standard order in Racks). After eating the chips, he ate the Bolognese of Justin, then asked for a rice to go with his fish. This kid can really load that much in his tummy!

And Jerome also ordered the quarter Pork Ribs but I think he's more excited with his side dish - Macaroni and Cheese.

There he is, playing hide and seek while waiting for our orders to arrive. It's good that we were minutes earlier than the others, coz not soon after mahaba na ang waiting customers outside . In fairness mabilis ang service sa branch na'to.

I was really full especially after eating the fish from Jason. We walked around the place before calling it done and head home.
Happy V-day!
